A segment of the railway between Bletchley and Bedford has been shut down due to a train malfunction. Substitute bus services are scheduled to operate for London Northwestern Railway passengers until 07:30 GMT on Monday. The rail operator conveyed its apologies for the inconvenience caused. The Marston Vale Line, which connects Bedford and Bletchley, features 12 stations. On Saturday, a replacement bus service was also put in place along this route due to staff shortages.
