An £18 million investment initiative is prompting an appeal to both local residents and visitors for their perspectives on the future of two prominent outdoor sites in Staffordshire. Staffordshire County Council previously stated that the funds are earmarked for enhancing facilities and drawing a greater number of visitors to Cannock Chase, Chasewater, and the Staffordshire Way. Among the long-term objectives are the redevelopment of visitor centers within Cannock and the reintroduction of the 92-mile Staffordshire Way. According to the council, individuals have the opportunity to participate in an online survey or submit their feedback directly at Cannock Chase and Chasewater during the upcoming week. The council unveiled these plans last month, expressing its aspiration that the enhancements would honor Staffordshire’s extensive heritage while simultaneously ensuring a balance between recreational activities and the preservation of nature. Victoria Wilson, cabinet member for communities and culture, commented, “Cannock Chase and Chasewater are such important parts of Staffordshire’s natural beauty, and we want to make sure they stay protected while continuing to meet the needs of the people who use them.” She added, “Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor, your input will help us to shape their future, so these spaces can be enjoyed by everyone for years to come.” Post navigation Bus Company Defends Officers Following Passenger’s “Humiliation” Claim Over Ticket Policy Images Released Detailing Town Centre Transformation
