A proposal for the construction of 1,500 residential units within a village in Shropshire has been lodged with planning authorities. This development envisions the creation of a new housing estate spanning approximately 112 hectares (277 acres) on land situated in Tasley, close to Bridgnorth. The current figure represents an increase of 450 dwellings compared to earlier proposals presented by developers Taylor Wimpey and Bloor Homes during July. The submission requests a “scoping opinion” from Shropshire Council, which is intended to facilitate outline planning permission. Furthermore, the project is slated to incorporate 14.6 hectares designated for employment, alongside a specialized residential facility for seniors, a nursery, a primary educational institution, and commercial retail spaces.
