A pregnant woman was transported to a hospital for medical attention after being struck by a car, the ambulance service reported. The incident reportedly took place on Friday afternoon in Cambridge, where she was crossing Campkin Road when a vehicle hit her. The East of England Ambulance Service stated it received a call at 15:17 GMT regarding reports that a pregnant woman had been hit by a car. The service added, “An ambulance and rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene. The woman was transported to the Rosie Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
