Rangers assistant Jay Bradford conveyed his team’s disappointment, stating, “It’s disappointing, we need to stand up to these challenges and we didn’t get that right.” He further elaborated on the need for enhanced performance, adding, “We’ve got to be better in the transition moments, the physicality of the game. This league is improving all the time, the teams are getting better and better but we have to get better as well. “We need to stand up to the challenge and we’ve not done that in the last two games.” Hibernian manager Grant Scott described his team’s performance as substantial, remarking, “That’s a massive performance from us, I think thoroughly deserved as well.” He credited his players for the result, noting, “I think we had a good day they had a bad day but credit to the players. It’s a big win for us.” Scott also highlighted their strong opening and effective management of difficult periods, saying, “I thought we started the game well, we managed the bits where we weren’t doing so well really well.” He concluded by affirming their objective to secure victories and the deserved nature of this win: “We’re here to win matches and that’s what we’re trying to do every week. Sometimes it’s sweeter when you don’t deserve it and manage to scrape one but I think we deserved that today. “We probably should’ve taken all three in the last game against Rangers but today [Sunday] is nothing more than we deserve.”
