Police have indicated that a man discovered deceased in Moray may have been struck by a vehicle. John Geddes, 33, had been reported missing from the Lossiemouth area last week. His body was found on Sunday, and as a consequence, the A941 road near Lossiemouth was closed between the B9103 and the B9135. Police Scotland stated that officers believe Mr. Geddes might have been hit by a vehicle. A car and its driver have been located, and investigations are proceeding. “We are working to piece together Mr Geddes’ last movements to establish the exact circumstances leading up him being found on Sunday,” a police statement said. “A post mortem will take place in due course to establish the cause of death.” However, following extensive inquiries since he was traced, officers believe Mr. Geddes may have been struck by a vehicle. They are pursuing several lines of inquiry regarding this. A car and its driver have been identified, and inquiries continue to gather additional details.
