Police Seek Man Following Public Indecency Incident with Dog Walker

Law enforcement officials are searching for an individual who committed an act of public indecency towards a woman walking her dog in Devon. According to officers, the man approached the woman as she was attaching her dog’s lead on a public footpath situated between Otterton and St Mary’s Church, Bicton, close to Budleigh Salterton, around 12:40 GMT on Sunday. Devon and Cornwall Police reported that the man allegedly exposed himself prior to remarking that it was a “lovely day”. The police force characterized the suspect as a slender, white male, approximately 5ft 8in (1.7m) tall, and in his late 20s. Authorities indicated that he possessed pale skin and an English accent. His attire included a black hat with ear flaps, blue jeans, a tanned sweatshirt, a dark blue waterproof garment, and a jacket secured around his waist. Officers stated that the man departed in the direction of Otterton Mill subsequent to being questioned by the woman. Individuals possessing relevant information are encouraged to contact the police.
