Police Search for Man Following Sexual Assault of Teenager on Bus

Law enforcement authorities are conducting a search for an individual following the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl that occurred on a public bus. The incident took place on 7 December at 21:00 GMT, when the 15-year-old was seated at a bus stop on Clarence Street in Gloucester. A man approached her before boarding the number one bus, which was traveling in the direction of Matson. The man subsequently sat beside the girl and sexually assaulted her by rubbing her leg and kissing her hand without her consent. He then commented on the 15-year-old’s physical appearance and stated, “that she should go home with him.” A female passenger on the bus observed the events unfolding and ensured the girl disembarked the bus and reached a safe location. Gloucestershire Police are appealing for this woman, who assisted the girl, to come forward. The suspect has been described as a white male, approximately 60 years old, standing around 5ft 9ins tall, with a slim build, a grey buzz cut, and speaking with a Gloucester accent. At the time of the incident, he was wearing gold-framed glasses with foggy lenses, a black coat, and was carrying a brown bag containing chips.
