Four individuals, including a serving Police Scotland officer and a former officer who resigned from the force, have been arrested and charged as part of an investigation by the force’s anti-corruption unit. According to Police Scotland, the arrests of the three men and one woman occurred in central Scotland last Wednesday. This action followed earlier property raids conducted this year. A force spokesperson confirmed: “All four have been charged and released from custody on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.” It is understood by BBC Scotland News that the serving officer has been suspended.
