Authorities have requested public assistance following a fatal four-vehicle collision in Highland Perthshire, which resulted in the death of a 49-year-old man. Emergency responders, comprising an air ambulance and fire brigades, were dispatched to the site on the A9 close to Ballinluig, approximately at 08:15 on Tuesday. The collision involved four vehicles: a white Scania lorry, a blue Ford Focus, a white Peugeot Bipper, and a Honda HRV. Law enforcement officials confirmed that the driver of the Peugeot was declared deceased at the location of the accident. The 26-year-old male driver of the lorry, the 36-year-old female driver of the Focus, and the 66-year-old male driver of the HRV were all transported to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. The thoroughfare stayed shut for over 10 hours, eventually reopening just before 19:00. Consequently, hundreds of motorists found themselves stranded in frigid temperatures and encountered detours ranging from 26 to 36 miles in length. PC Mike Guild stated: “Our inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, and who has not already spoken to officers, to get in touch.” He further added: “I would also appeal to anyone who was driving in this area around that time and who may have dashcam footage which could assist us to contact us.” Post navigation Police Confirm 13-Year-Old Stabbing Victim in “Critical but Stable” Condition Formal Inquiry Initiated into Harshita Brella’s Death
