Door-to-door investigations are currently being conducted in Telford after an 18-year-old male sustained stab wounds. West Mercia Police has reissued a public appeal for witnesses concerning the assault, which occurred on King Street, Dawley, at approximately 16:00 GMT on Monday. The young man suffered multiple injuries but is reported to be in a stable condition at the hospital. Detective Inspector Paul Drury stated: “Local residents can expect to see a continued police presence in the area as officers continue to carry out inquiries and offer reassurance to the community.” He urged anyone who observed the incident, was driving through the vicinity at the time, or possessed dashcam footage or relevant information, to contact officers or anonymously reach out to Crimestoppers. Law enforcement personnel are meticulously examining CCTV footage from nearby commercial establishments and residences in an effort to identify the assailants. The local policing team has deployed a mobile unit, where officers are available to speak with individuals who have concerns regarding the stabbing.
