Kent Police has reported the arrest of three individuals and the confiscation of more than 100 cannabis plants as part of an initiative designed to address organized crime. On December 23, law enforcement officers attended a property in Hythe after concerns arose regarding the production of drugs at the location. Following a short pursuit on foot, a 34-year-old man was apprehended on suspicion of being concerned in the production of drugs. Further investigations conducted later the same day led to the arrest of a 44-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman. Police confirmed that a search of the property was carried out, leading to the seizure of cannabis plants and growing equipment, as part of an ongoing investigation. Folkestone and Hythe Community Policing Sgt Sarah Williams stated: “‘I urge anyone who believes drugs are being sold or produced in their area to let us know.
