Police have identified the pedestrian who died after being struck by a motorbike in Leeds. Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Smith, 65, succumbed to his injuries in hospital following the collision. The incident involved a blue Voge 125cc motorcycle and occurred on Great George Street at approximately 15:00 GMT on Monday. The 26-year-old motorcyclist, who sustained facial injuries, was subsequently taken into custody on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. West Yorkshire Police reported that the rider has since been released on bail. Authorities conducting the investigation into the crash have issued an appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
