Cambridgeshire Police have issued an alert concerning a recent increase in moped and motorbike thefts occurring in the vicinity of Wisbech. The force reported multiple incidents over the last few days, noting that some of the stolen vehicles have already been successfully recovered and given back to their owners. On social media, the police force stated, “We are now working hard to identify those responsible. With some progress already being made.” Members of the public possessing CCTV footage or any relevant information are urged to contact the authorities. Addressing local residents, police conveyed: “We believe that there may be crimes that have not been reported at this stage.
