Police Investigate Unexplained Death of Man in Maidenhead Home

An investigation has been initiated by police following the discovery of a deceased man within his residence. Thames Valley Police (TVP) reported that officers responded to an incident on Monday at Ray Street in Maidenhead, Berkshire, where the 65-year-old individual was located. Detective Chief Inspector Quoc Vo stated that the circumstances surrounding the death are currently considered “unexplained.” The police force has appealed to the public for assistance, specifically requesting information from anyone who may have seen the man, described as a leg amputee who utilized a red or burgundy mobility scooter, on Sunday. TVP confirmed that the inquiry is in its initial phases and urged individuals possessing dashcam or doorbell footage of the man to contact them. Det Ch Insp Vo encouraged community members, stating, “If any member of the public has any concern or wish to flag something to officers, please don’t hesitate to speak to any of them at the scene.” The statement added, “The man’s next of kin are aware and are being offered support.”
