Police have identified a father of one, described as “charming,” who passed away after an incident at a pub. Charles O’Sullivan, aged 43, was discovered deceased by ambulance personnel at a residence in East Haddon, Northamptonshire, at 05:45 GMT on November 24. According to Northamptonshire Police, Mr. O’Sullivan, also known as Charlie, succumbed to an incident that occurred the previous night at Rosie O’Leary’s pub, located on Fish Street in Northampton. The cause of his death remains under investigation. Authorities stated that a 24-year-old man, who had been apprehended on suspicion of Mr. O’Sullivan’s murder, has been granted bail while further inquiries are conducted. In a statement of remembrance, Mr. O’Sullivan’s partner remarked: “Charlie always went above and beyond for people. Anyone who needed help in any way, he would always be there.” She added: “He had such a way of charming people, everyone loved him.” The partner continued: “He loved fiercely – if you were loved by Charlie then you knew it. He would never stand for injustice and had a strong sense of right and wrong.” She concluded: “I see all these traits in our little girl, who idolises her dad. We are heartbroken without him.” Law enforcement officials indicated that Mr. O’Sullivan’s family is receiving support from specially trained officers and requested that their privacy be honored.
