Authorities have identified the woman who passed away following a collision in Derrylin, County Fermanagh, as Amy Stokes, 20, from County Cavan. Law enforcement officials reported that the single-vehicle incident occurred on the Ballyconnell Road just after 22:50 GMT. PSNI Inspector Cherith Adair stated: “Sadly, a passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. “The other occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.” Amy Stokes’ family informed police they are “devastated by her loss” and that she will be “sorely missed by her family and friends”. The affected road has since been reopened to traffic, and officers indicate that investigations are continuing.
