Law enforcement officials have identified a man who passed away following a collision close to Gretna, an incident that resulted in five individuals being hospitalized. Jackson Pringle sustained fatal injuries in the event, which involved a black Peugeot 3008 and a white Ford Transit van, occurring on the A75 around 11:10 AM on December 16. Mr. Pringle, aged 83, who had been operating the Peugeot, was transported to the Royal Victoria Infirmary but succumbed to his injuries the subsequent day. Additionally, a 77-year-old male was admitted to the hospital due to severe injuries, and three other males, aged 77, 60, and 31, received medical attention as a precautionary measure.
