Authorities have identified a man whose body was discovered on a beach in Cornwall. Devon and Cornwall Police reported that emergency services were summoned at 07:30 GMT to Great Western Beach in Newquay, where the individual was pronounced deceased. Law enforcement officials stated their current efforts are focused on locating and notifying his next of kin. Detective Constable Simon Murray commented: “We, of course, want to locate and inform his next of kin as soon as possible”. Investigators indicated that they did not suspect the man had been submerged in the water for an extended period.
