Police Appeal After Suspected Garden Arson

An investigation has been initiated by police following a fire in the rear garden of a residence, which is suspected to have been deliberately ignited. Leicestershire Police reported receiving a call from the fire service regarding an incident at a property on Berrisford Street, Coalville, around 00:30 GMT on Sunday. Officers believe that an individual accessed the premises via an alleyway adjacent to the property. The force stated that a black dustbin was set on fire, subsequently damaging the back door and windows, though no injuries were reported. Authorities have appealed for anyone possessing information or video footage related to the incident to contact them.
