A residence in Huddersfield sustained damage to a living room window after an individual, described as a gunman on a bicycle, discharged a firearm at the property. Armed police units were dispatched around 22:20 GMT on Friday, following reports that the suspect had fired shots at an address situated in Bridge Croft, within the Milnsbridge district of the town. West Yorkshire Police confirmed that the occupants present at the address during the incident were unharmed. The police force has issued an appeal for anyone with relevant information concerning the event to come forward. Detective Chief Inspector Stacey Atkinson commented: “The criminal use of firearms on our streets is always something we treat extremely seriously, and we are carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and to identify those responsible.“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any part of the incident or who saw the suspect arriving at or leaving the scene on a bicycle.”
