A prison van in Doncaster has struck and injured two pedestrians, one of whom sustained serious injuries. The incident occurred on Wednesday at 15:34 GMT, when a 77-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman were hit by a DAF GeoAmey van on Doncaster Road, specifically at its intersection with Coppice Avenue. According to South Yorkshire Police, both individuals were transported to the hospital. The woman’s condition is currently described as life-threatening. Officers who are investigating the collision have issued an appeal for witnesses or anyone possessing relevant footage to contact them.
