A pedestrian in Warwickshire sustained severe chest injuries after being struck by a vehicle. The incident occurred around 20:30 GMT on Friday on Coventry Road in Exhall. As of Monday, the man, who is in his 40s, remained hospitalized. A blue Hyundai car was involved in the collision, and its driver contacted emergency services, including police and ambulance. Warwickshire Police indicated that a red Uber vehicle is thought to have stopped near the pedestrian prior to the collision. The police force is seeking to interview its driver as a potential witness. Authorities are also appealing for individuals who witnessed the event or possess CCTV or dashcam footage of a male, dressed in dark clothing and carrying a white plastic bag, walking along Coventry Road from Exhall in the direction of Bedworth.
