Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Somerset Road

Authorities have confirmed the death of a man in Somerset following a collision where he was struck by a vehicle. Officers from Avon and Somerset Police responded to an incident on the A3088 Cartgate Link Road around 21:00 GMT on Tuesday. The incident involved a pedestrian and a Hyundai automobile. The pedestrian, a male, succumbed to his injuries at the site, which is situated close to the village of Stoke-sub-Hamdon. Police issued an appeal, stating: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or were in the area in the moments leading up to the incident.”
