Police have identified the individual who died following a collision involving three vehicles. Jack Nixon, a resident of Whitby in North Yorkshire, was fatally struck on the A174 near the Greystones roundabout in Redcar, Teesside, at approximately 15:15 GMT on Friday. The family of the 28-year-old victim issued a statement, saying: “Jack was a much-loved son, brother, nephew, grandson and friend who will be sorely missed.” Cleveland Police announced that a 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. The collision involved a black BMW X5, a silver Mercedes, and a bronze Seat Leon.
