To submit a picture, individuals can use BBC Weather Watchers or send an email to southweather@bbc.co.uk. For guidance, tips from three of England’s Big Picture photographers are available. When submitting images via email, contributors must include specific required information. While all submissions are appreciated, there is a higher likelihood of using photographs taken within the last week. An archive of past images is accessible on Instagram, using the hashtags #bbcsouthnews and #OxfordshiresBigPicture. Submitting a picture signifies acceptance of the BBC’s Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy. By contributing to Oxfordshire’s Big Picture, individuals grant a royalty-free, non-exclusive license for the BBC to publish and utilize the material as desired, across all media globally. Contributors retain copyright to all material submitted to Oxfordshire’s Big Picture. If an image is selected for publication, the contributor’s name will be credited.
