Oxfordshire’s Daily Image Feature: Submission Guidelines

The BBC invites individuals to contribute to a daily feature showcasing the beauty of Oxfordshire through submitted images, offering a moment of relaxation and appreciation. Photographs can be uploaded via BBC Weather Watchers or sent by email to southweather@bbc.co.uk. For guidance on submitting pictures, use BBC Weather Watchers or email southweather@bbc.co.uk. Inspiration and tips are also available from three of England’s Big Picture photographers. When emailing images, contributors must ensure specific information is included. While all submissions are welcomed, there is a higher likelihood of using pictures taken within the past week. Archived images are available on Instagram, identified by the hashtags #bbcsouthnews and #OxfordshiresBigPicture. By submitting a picture, contributors agree to comply with the BBC’s Terms and Conditions and the BBC’s privacy policy. Participation in Oxfordshire’s Big Picture grants the BBC a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish and utilize the submitted material as desired, across any media worldwide. It is important to note that contributors retain copyright ownership of their submissions to Oxfordshire’s Big Picture. If an image is accepted, the contributor’s name will be published alongside it. The BBC cannot guarantee that all submitted pictures will be used and reserves the right to edit any accompanying comments.
