Zoe Webber has become a member of Norwich City’s restructured board, which no longer includes Delia Smith and Michael Wynn-Jones as directors. The executive director for Norwich City, Zoe Webber, has received an appointment to the English Football League’s board. She is set to serve alongside Neil Bausor, the chief executive of Middlesbrough, and Peter Ridsdale, a director at Preston North End, as representatives for Championship clubs. Webber’s career in football spans more than two decades; she has been a board member at Norwich since 2022 and additionally serves as a trustee for the club’s Community Sports Foundation charity. “I’m looking forward to working with board colleagues and clubs at a time when there are so many important issues to navigate,” she said. “I also hope to be able to provide a fresh perspective across several key areas of our work.” Rick Parry, the EFL chair, commented that Webber possesses a “sound understanding” of the football “landscape” from both the viewpoint of a club and the league. Her prior roles include serving as an alternate director on the EFL board and participating in its commercial committee.
