Sir Alex Ferguson achieved 13 Premier League titles as manager of Manchester United. The life and career of the former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, will be presented in a new two-part documentary on the BBC. Produced by BBC Sport and BBC Scotland, the program titled ‘Sir Alex’ is scheduled for release on 26 December via BBC iPlayer, and will include personal testimonies from figures such as Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Gordon Strachan, and Sir Kenny Dalglish. Over his 27-year period managing Manchester United, the 82-year-old achieved 13 Premier League titles, two Champions League trophies, five FA Cups, and four EFL Cups, prior to his retirement in 2013. Prior to this, he guided Aberdeen to victories in the European Cup Winners’ Cup and the European Super Cup, in addition to securing three league titles, four Scottish Cups, and a Scottish League Cup, establishing him as the most successful manager in British history. A complementary six-part podcast, named ‘Sporting Giants: Sir Alex Ferguson’, will also be accessible on BBC Sounds starting 26 December, and broadcast on BBC Radio 5 Live throughout the festive season, featuring an additional episode on 3 January.
