The Neighbourhood Weekender festival, described as a “much loved festival,” is set to return in May 2025 following a one-year hiatus. Festival organizers have approved the event to take place on May 24-25 next year at Victoria Park in Warrington. This event, which annually draws tens of thousands of attendees, has previously featured artists such as Noel Gallagher, Lewis Capaldi, the Courteeners, and Pulp. Councillor Tony Higgins of Warrington Borough Council stated: “The festival has become a real highlight for music fans across Warrington, the wider region and beyond.“It brings tens of thousands of people to our town, producing an estimated £2 million net economic value and showcasing Warrington as a vibrant and culturally rich destination.” He added that since 2018, the festival has “put Warrington on the music map.” Additional information, including the event’s lineup, is still pending announcement.
