Murder charges have been brought against two individuals following the fatal stabbing of a 59-year-old man at a Blackpool hotel. Police discovered the body of Kevin Price within the Garfield Hotel premises on Sunday. Adam Saunders, aged 50, and Helen Kenyon, aged 38, both residents of Blackpool, face charges in connection with his murder, according to a spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary. Their appearance before Lancaster Magistrates’ Court is scheduled for a later time. An autopsy revealed that Mr Price, who resided alone at the establishment, succumbed to multiple stab wounds. Law enforcement officers located his body after responding to a call expressing concerns regarding his well-being. Mr Price’s relatives are receiving assistance from officers who have undergone specialized training. Detective Chief Inspector Simon Pritchard, from the Force Major Investigation Team, stated that his “thoughts remain with Kevin’s loved ones” and confirmed that Mr Price’s family had been informed of the charges.
