Murder Arrest Follows Man’s Death at Liverpool Flats

A man has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder after another individual died at a block of flats. Emergency services were dispatched to an address on Spellow Lane, Walton, Liverpool, at approximately 18:10 GMT, following reports of a concern for safety. Ambulance and police personnel attended the scene, where a 65-year-old man was pronounced deceased. A 52-year-old man, from Toxteth, was apprehended nearby and is expected to be interviewed by detectives. Forensic examinations and door-to-door inquiries are currently underway. Detective Chief Inspector Alyson Keenan commented: “The investigation is in its early stages and we are appealing to anyone who may have information which could assist us to come forward.
