A motorcycle rider sustained “life-changing injuries” following a collision involving a car in the North York Moors region, according to police statements. The incident occurred on Blakey Ridge, close to Kirkbymoorside, at 13:40 GMT on Saturday, as reported by North Yorkshire Police. The 77-year-old male, a resident of York, was operating a black Suzuki motorcycle traveling in the direction of Castleton when it collided with a grey Kia Niro proceeding towards Kirkbymoorside. He is currently hospitalized in a stable state. The individuals inside the car did not sustain injuries. Authorities are requesting that any witnesses to the crash, along with any relevant dashcam recordings, make themselves known.
