A motorcycle rider has passed away following a collision, having set out to meet friends for a bacon roll and coffee. Nicola Webb, aged 50, from Peniel, Carmarthenshire, succumbed to her injuries after her black KTM motorcycle was involved in a collision with a black Volkswagen vehicle on Sunday. The incident occurred on the A4069, situated between Llangadog and Llandovery. Her family issued a statement honoring her as a wife and friend who possessed “a zest for life”. Relatives noted her enjoyment of activities such as walking her dogs, spending time with friends, and cycling or motorcycling. Having dedicated the majority of her career to the NHS, her family described her as an embodiment of public service. Her family stated: “She sadly lost her life following one of her joys, riding her motorcycle to meet up with other like-minded friends and have a coffee and a bacon roll.” They added: “She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.”
