Motorcyclist, 33, Dies Following Collision with Lorry

A collision involving a lorry and a motorcycle has resulted in the death of a 33-year-old man. According to Avon and Somerset Police, the incident occurred on the A4 Bath Road in Keynsham shortly before 08:30 GMT. A police spokesperson confirmed that the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene, stating: “Sadly, despite the best efforts of paramedics”. The spokesperson further added: “Our thoughts are with his family and they are being supported by a specially trained officer.” For the purpose of investigation, the Bath Road was closed in both directions between the Hicks Gate and Broadmead roundabouts; however, it has since been reopened. Authorities are requesting that anyone who witnessed the collision or possesses dashcam footage or relevant information contact the police.
