A woman is currently hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a collision involving a van and her mobility scooter in Glasgow. The 65-year-old individual was transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following the incident, which occurred around 14:30 on Saturday at the intersection of Cumberland Street and the A730 Caledonia Road. A white Renault Trafic van was also involved in the event, and the thoroughfare remained closed for approximately four hours. No other persons sustained injuries. Police Scotland has requested that any individuals with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the crash come forward.
