Police have confirmed that a puppy, which was stolen nearly a week ago as part of a litter, continues to be missing. The incident involved the theft of five cocker spaniel puppies from a residence located in Kelloe, County Durham, on Sunday. While Durham Police successfully recovered four of the canines, the fifth puppy’s whereabouts are still unknown, and investigators suspect it might have been sold. The police force stated that its investigation is progressing and reiterated that “the search continues”. These seven-week-old puppies had recently been separated from their mother, named Freckles, at the time of their disappearance. A man and a woman previously apprehended in relation to this inquiry have since been granted bail. Individuals possessing any relevant information are urged to get in touch with Durham Police.
