An adolescent male has been apprehended following the theft of three motorbikes, one of which was an emergency blood bike, which were subsequently used for unauthorized rides. According to Avon and Somerset Police, two of these incidents took place on Saturday morning in Bristol, with the third occurring on Wednesday evening. Authorities have confirmed the recovery of two of the three stolen motorbikes, including the one owned by the Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Blood Bike Service. The teenager is currently being held as inquiries proceed. Law enforcement officials are also seeking to identify an additional individual observed departing the location on a moped. On Saturday, approximately 09:50 GMT, a red and black BMW S1000R, which remains unrecovered, was taken from Museum Street on Wapping Wharf. Shortly after 10:05, a citizen contacted the police to report a motorbike left unattended in Victoria Park, with two individuals seen escaping the area on a moped. Responding officers confirmed the vehicle was a Yamaha, utilized by the Freewheelers charity, an organization whose volunteers deliver blood and other medical provisions during emergencies. Concurrently, officers were dispatched to reports concerning two individuals acting suspiciously on a motorbike within the city centre. Aided by the National Police Air Service helicopter, police successfully tracked and intercepted the motorbike on Sturminster Road, where only one rider was present. The mid-teenager was apprehended at the site on suspicion of vehicle theft, reckless driving, and evading police. The Honda PCX 125cc motorbike, which had been stolen from St Annes on Wednesday, was confiscated by authorities. Police have issued a call for witnesses or individuals possessing dashcam footage that could aid their ongoing investigation to present themselves.
