British fighter Michael ‘Venom’ Page, who holds a record of one win and one loss since his UFC debut earlier this year, is scheduled to compete against Russia’s Sharaputdin Magomedov in a middleweight contest at UFC Saudi Arabia on 1 February. Page, known by his moniker ‘MVP’, will be transitioning from the welterweight division, where he has competed for most of his career, to participate in this bout. The 37-year-old’s most recent appearance in the octagon was in June, resulting in a unanimous decision loss to Ireland’s Ian Machado Garry. Magomedov, aged 30, enters the fight with an undefeated professional record, having secured victories in all 15 of his career fights, including his latest win against Armen Petrosyan in October. The event’s main attraction is a middleweight encounter featuring former two-time champion Israel Adesanya and France’s Nassourdine Imavov. Adesanya, a Nigerian-born New Zealander, aims to recover from his August defeat by champion Dricus du Plessis, whereas Imavov is currently riding a three-fight winning streak.
