Jerome Beasley, 42, and Luke Robinson, 39, two constables from the Metropolitan Police’s Central West Command Unit, have entered not guilty pleas to charges of sexually assaulting the same woman. Their pleas were made during a brief hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court. Mr. Beasley faces accusations of four counts of sexual assault, with one alleged incident occurring in January 2020 and three others reportedly taking place last April. Mr. Robinson is charged with three offenses, all of which are alleged to have occurred in April. Prosecutor Rhianne Neil stated that the officers are accused of “grabbing and squeezing” the alleged victim’s breasts and bottom. It was disclosed in court that some of the alleged offenses reportedly took place at the Hippodrome Casino in central London, during a period when the officers were off-duty. Apart from submitting their pleas at the Wednesday hearing, the two individuals’ only other statements were to confirm their names, ages, and dates of birth. Mr. Beasley, who resides in north Harrow, and Mr. Robinson, from Northampton, were granted conditional bail in advance of a hearing scheduled for 18 December at Southwark Crown Court. Both officers are presently suspended from their duties, according to the Met.
