A mother and her two daughters, who passed away after being discovered with fatal injuries at their residence, will be commemorated with a bench situated in a rural setting. The trustees overseeing Bushey Manor Field, located in Bushey, Hertfordshire, are making arrangements to install a commemorative seat for Carol Hunt, 61; Hannah Hunt, 28; and Louise Hunt, 25. These three women, identified as the wife and daughters of BBC racing commentator John Hunt, passed away subsequent to being found at their home within the town on 9 July. According to Trustee Laurence Brass, Louise Hunt operated a dog-grooming business and frequently walked a dog across the field. Mr. Brass, who also serves as a Liberal Democrat member of Hertfordshire County Council, representing Bushey North, stated that the family was widely recognized in the local community and that the trustees considered a bench an appropriate tribute. He mentioned that the bench is undergoing special carving and will incorporate a plaque. “We’ll put it somewhere on the perimeter of the field,” he stated. “The exact spot hasn’t been decided yet.” On their website, the trustees characterize the field as “unspoilt English countryside.” The site explains that the field was initially part of the Royal Masonic School for Boys and served as a venue for sports such as rugby, hockey, and cricket. He confirmed that Mr. Hunt had been consulted regarding the plans and expressed that he was “touched.” A male individual has been charged in connection with the murders of the women. Kyle Clifford, 26, from Enfield, north London, made an appearance at Cambridge Crown Court via video link on Thursday. Mr. Clifford faces additional charges of false imprisonment and two counts of possessing offensive weapons. He has not yet formally entered a plea concerning these charges. During an inquest held in July, it was revealed that Mrs. Hunt’s death resulted from stab wounds to her chest and abdomen, whereas both her daughters succumbed to injuries caused by crossbow bolts.
