McFly and The Human League have been confirmed as two of the newest headlining performers for a series of concerts scheduled for the upcoming year. Both musical groups are set to participate in the Bedford Summer Sessions, an event spanning five days in July, situated within Bedford Park, the town’s Grade II listed Victorian park. Formed in 2003, McFly is widely recognized for popular songs such as Five Colours in Her Hair, All About You, and Obviously. The Human League, a band that achieved chart-topping success in both the UK and US, gained prominence with their 1981 synth-pop album Dare, which featured numerous successful tracks, notably Don’t You Want Me. Among the headlining artists previously disclosed for the event are Rag’n’Bone Man and Supergrass. Danny Jones, who serves as McFly’s vocalist and guitarist, is presently participating as a contestant on ITV’s reality show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, set in a jungle environment. His appearance mirrors that of fellow band member Dougie Poynter, who earned the title of “king of the jungle” in 2011. The Human League is scheduled to perform on Thursday, 10 July, while McFly will conclude the Bedford Summer Sessions on Sunday, 13 July. Ticket sales commence on Friday, 6 December.
