A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a collision that took place at a supermarket petrol station. Devon and Cornwall Police stated that officers were dispatched to the forecourt of the Sainsbury’s petrol station on Nicholson Road in Torquay at approximately 16:10 GMT on Friday, following reports of a crash. Police confirmed that the incident involved a car and a man in his 60s, who was subsequently hospitalized with serious injuries. Additionally, the car’s driver, a woman in her 70s, was also transported to hospital, having sustained minor injuries. Investigations into the occurrence are currently in progress.
