Avon and Somerset Police stated that the event took place on 28 September at approximately 21:30 GMT, on South Road in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset. The 53-year-old victim was “punched repeatedly,” according to the force, and is currently undergoing medical evaluations with eye specialists. The alleged assailant is described as being in his 30s or 40s, possessing a muscular build, and having a tattoo sleeve on his left arm. Police further indicated that at the time of the occurrence, he was dressed in a dark t-shirt featuring the letters ‘NY’ in white on the front, blue jeans, and black trainers.
