Police have reported that a man in his eighties sustained life-changing injuries after his car crashed into a tree in Devon. The collision, involving a red Nissan Note, occurred at approximately 12:55 GMT on Sunday. Devon and Cornwall Police stated the incident took place on the A379 Teignmouth Road in Torquay, Devon. Authorities confirmed the man was transported to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. The road was subsequently closed to allow for an investigation.
