A man has been admitted to hospital with life-threatening injuries following an incident where his vehicle collided with a tree. Humberside Police stated that a grey Seat Ibiza was traveling westbound on the B1230 Main Road, in the vicinity of Gilberdyke in East Yorkshire, heading towards Howden, when it departed the roadway at approximately 19:00 GMT on Sunday. The 64-year-old individual behind the wheel was transported to a medical facility due to the critical injuries sustained. Authorities are requesting that anyone possessing information or who may have witnessed the occurrence come forward.
