An investigation has commenced following an assault at a Nottinghamshire pub where a man sustained a head injury. Police have apprehended an individual in connection with the attack, which occurred on Derby Road, Stapleford, shortly after 01:00 GMT on Saturday. A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police verified that a man in his 40s is presently hospitalized. The force further stated that a 46-year-old man was arrested at the location on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and continues to be held in custody.
