An individual was transported to the hospital following a garage fire in Bilston. Emergency services, comprising three fire engines and a fire response vehicle, were dispatched to Old Fallings Lane shortly before 07:30 GMT. According to the West Midlands Fire Service, the blaze originated in the garage of a residence, with smoke impacting the entire premises. A man was successfully rescued from the scene and received initial treatment for smoke inhalation before being transferred to New Cross Hospital for additional medical attention. The spokesperson further confirmed that no other individuals sustained injuries, all occupants were accounted for, and the fire was brought under control and safely put out.
