An individual has been accused of murder subsequent to the death of a man who sustained an assault at York railway station. Law enforcement personnel responded to the station on Sunday around 20:45 GMT, following reports that the victim, identified as being in his 30s, had sustained severe head injuries. The victim subsequently passed away in a hospital. Mckenzie Dicicco, 22, residing at Harsley Road, Stockton-on-Tees, has since been formally charged with both murder and affray, as confirmed by British Transport Police. Mr. Dicicco is scheduled to appear before York Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. Detective Chief Inspector Sam Painter stated: “A man has been charged in connection with this incident and we are not looking for anyone else in connection.” He further mentioned that specialist family liaison officers are providing support to the victim’s family. Authorities urged anyone possessing information to contact them.
