A 20-year-old man from East Yorkshire has made a court appearance, facing a charge related to terrorism. Jordan Richardson, residing at Oliver Close, Howden, near Goole, was present at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday. He stands accused of a single count of “engaging in conduct in preparation of an act of terrorism.” His arrest took place on December 19, subsequent to an investigation conducted by Counter Terrorism Policing North East, with support from Humberside Police. District Judge Annabel Pilling ordered Mr Richardson to be held in custody, with a future court date set for the Old Bailey on January 17, 2025.
